Formed in July 2004, Systems IT is an IT services business based in Southwark and supporting clients across London. They provide a growing range of Cloud-based services, although a number of clients still have local infrastructure.
In February 2015 they asked SME Needs to help them to improve their marketing performance and to help grow the business. Their sales team needed support for their outbound business development activity.
At that time, they had no structured marketing plan and no dedicated marketing resource in house. They did know they wanted to grow.
What did we do?
Over the past 6 years we have maintained a consistent flow of marketing activity, in the form of:
website content, demonstrating the knowledge and expertise within the business.
Email campaigns, nurturing and educating their target audiences, as well as keeping clients up to date.
Trade show stands and marketing collateral, making them stand out at the PA Show.
Strategic marketing and business advice, ensuring they know what should be happening.
Someone to talk to, as the life of a director of a small business isn’t easy. Sometimes just having an independent voice can be highly beneficial.
Maintained awareness levels throughout the Covid pandemic, ensuring their target audiences don’t forget who they are, in readiness for the emergence in (hopefully) the next few months.
Much of the early strategic planning was funded through the government’s Growth Accelerator programme.
Adding over £1 million to their annual turnover isn’t bad going, in less than six years!
